A New Zero-Waste Process Technology

Our Process

The Atlas Process recovers Magnesium, Nickel, and Cobalt from saprolite ore through a proven three-stage route: hydrometallurgical leaching and purification, pyrohydrolysis, and aluminothermic reduction to primary Magnesium metal. The hydromet stage operates at atmospheric pressure and temperature; downstream pyrohydrolysis and aluminothermic reduction are conducted under elevated thermal conditions. The process generates no processing waste or harmful emissions
